We’re here to help.
At Union Church we want to provide a healing environment in which those who are distraught, in crisis or difficulty can share their innermost concerns and seek assistance in a safe, non judgmental & absolutely confidential setting. We are a free Christian Lay Counseling Service offering short term counseling for any in the community who are English speaking. We are trained lay counselors who are available to offer support, encouragement and guidance all in a non-threatening way; equipping people to understand themselves and their reactions & to help them to move forward with their lives. We use an integrated approach to counseling; a Christian perspective in combination with proven psychological and therapeutic interventions.
We deal with many varied issues, including but not limited to; grief / loss, stress, anxiety, abuse, co-dependency, internal/external conflicts, spiritual concerns, depression, relationship issues, transitions / life changes, decisions that are causing concern and we also provide referrals to professionals/Doctors.
