"...the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
James 5:16 (NIV)
James 5:16 (NIV)
As the body of Christ, we lift in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ. As His sons and daughters, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, and we would like to do that for:
- Please pray for Siomara de Morales, Heber Morales’ wife. She suffered a fall and injured her arm on Monday, April 22. She will likely have to undergo surgery. Pray for Siomara, that her arm heals soon, that the pain will recede, and pray for Heber, Michelle and Paola as they care for Siomara. (04/22)
- Pray for Pastor Mark as he underwent a localized hand surgery on Thursday, April 11. Pray for a speedy and full recovery. (04/12)
- The Pearse family is very thankful for the elders and church family's prayers for Cathy's health, as well as all the love and support they have received. Cathy has improved significantly, and they thank the Lord for all the blessings received. (04/01)
- Pray for Susan & Rubén Hilario who are undergoing health issues and temporarily in the United States.
- Susan had scans and, praise God, the results turned out really well.
- Rubén so the process to get his paperwork to remain in the US longer can continue to be moving along. Pray for God to expedite it.
- Pray for peace for Israel and the Middle East ("Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity." Psalms 122:6-9 NIV).
- Continue praying for Guatemala and that God’s will to be done in our country. Continue praying that our political authorities act with integrity to seek the welfare of the people in Guatemala.
- Continue praying for the Lord’s provision for UCG. Pray that God moves people to give generously to support our ministries.
If you have a prayer request that you would like to share with our church family, contact us here.
"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live."
