Final Stage of our Pastoral Search
About the Search Committee & Process
The UCG search committee is made up of a diverse group of UCG members that represent all demographics of our church. Its members are: Ian Reyes, Eddy Tabush, Lee Hastedt, Cathy Baldizon, Abby Morales, Greg Malckzewski, Pastor Ralph Porter and Sam Llanes, chair of the committee.
For several months, UCG’s search committee has been praying earnestly and working diligently to present the congregation with a pastoral candidate. We have committed to follow God’s direction in this process so that His will be done and not ours.
After reviewing many résumés and applications, we met pastor Mark Hunt. During our interviews, pastor Mark got to know the Union Church of Guatemala very well: our doctrine, core values, and customs and practices. UCG is a unique church because of its multicultural and inter-denominational make-up.
