Libre Infancia's scope of impact bless the lives of approximately 1000 persons.

The UCG Foodbank’s gift allowed the Gozosos ministry to provide the best Christmas convivio (get together) for their staff in their 19 years of service. They were also able to buy a new stove and microwave for their new kitchen. This gift overflowed and they were also able to cover their electricity and phone bills.

Community Impact #6

Date: July, 2021
Place: July

Many families in Guatemala are still facing dire circumstances because of the impact Covid has had in health, economy and education.

A few weeks ago, UCG provided Ambi with bags of groceries and a special gift so children can have access to Internet and take classes online. This is all thanks to the gifts our generous church family has made to our Food Bank.

Thank you so much!

Community Impact # 5

Date: May, 2021
Place: Caserío "El Pinalón", Aldea "La Hierba Buena", Aldea "El Carmen", Caserío "El Monte Chapeado", Aldea "Las Marías", Casillas, Santa Rosa
On May 19, we traveled to Aldea Casillas in Santa Rosa to deliver corn grinders to families in need. These families had to walk four miles each day to be able to grind corn so they can make tortillas, which are an important part of their diet. Now, thanks to your generosity, they don’t need to travel that far to secure a meal.  This was only possible through your support to our Food Bank!
There will be 210 corn grinders distributed to more than 4 communities throughout Santa Rosa, as well as clothes in all sizes.

Community Impact # 4

Date: March, 2021
Place: Aldea Sebol, Morales, Izabal

In March the Union Church of Guatemala provided 2-burner stoves (along with its necessary accessories for them to work properly) to 60 families in Sebol village, Morales, Izabal. These families had lost everything they had after they were affected by storms Eta & Iota. For several months, these families did not have any means to cook their food. We wanted to provide these stoves so that families could cook their meals without using open fires which have a negative impact on their health and the environment.

The shipment left the Union Church on the morning of March 10, and arrived in Morales later that day.

We are thankful to have provided these stoves to all these families, and we continue to praise our good and great God for the opportunity he gives us to bless all these families!

Community Impact # 3

Date: January 2021
Place: Guatemala and Chimaltenango

These items were included in bags that Ambi put together and were delivered to 199 families in Tecpan, Aldea Panimacoc, Aldea El Manzanillo, La Verbena (zone 7 of Guatemala City), Villa Nueva, El Mezquital and Villa Lobos.
Thank you, UCG family! Your generosity has impacted the lives of our brothers and sisters who are in need.
