"...the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
James 5:16 (NIV)
James 5:16 (NIV)
As the body of Christ, we lift in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ. As His sons and daughters, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, and we would like to do that for:
- The Pearse's are so thankful for our church family’s love, prayers and support. Cathy has improved from last week. We continue to care for her at home. She is surrounded by love, prayers, hope and good feelings. (03/25)
- Pray for Jamie Waller with the loss of his sister Nina in New York. Pray that God will bring comfort to him and his family in trying times like these. (03/22)
- Pray for Susan & Rubén Hilario who are undergoing health issues and temporarily in the United States.
- Susan had scans and, praise God, the results turned out really well.
- Rubén for his paperwork to remain in the US longer can continue to be moving along. Pray for God to expedite it.
- Pray for LeAnn Wright who is in treatment for breast cancer. LeAnn lives in Florida and is Paul & Ruth Philippi's granddaughter. (12/22)
- Pray for peace for Israel and the Middle East ("Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity." Psalms 122:6-9 NIV).
- Continue praying for Guatemala and that God’s will to be done in our country. Continue praying that our new authorities act with integrity to seek the welfare of the people in Guatemala.
- Continue praying for the Lord’s provision for UCG. Pray that God moves people to give generously to support our ministries.

I will call on him as long as I live."

- Praise for Rubén Hilario as his eye surgery went well. The doctors were very happy with the results. Ruben, also, can see clearly again. (03/14'24)
- We praise our God for His faithfulness to UCG and how He has used its generous family to support the ministry of UCG in our community.
- All UCG's volunteers and members of the different boards; for their commitment to serve God's kingdom through their resources.
