"...the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
James 5:16 (NIV)
James 5:16 (NIV)
As the body of Christ, we lift in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ. As His sons and daughters, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, and we would like to do that for:
- As our Union Youth begins their retreat today, let us pray that God will protect every student and leader, prepare their hearts to receive His Word, strengthen their friendships, and help them grow in their identity in Christ.
- Please continue praying for Ruth Philippi as she faces ongoing health concerns and continues her recovery. Pray that God will grant her healing, renewed strength, and steady improvement in the days ahead. Also pray that God will strengthen and sustain Paul as he faithfully walks alongside Ruth during this time.
- Continue praying for the Haese family following the passing of Guillermo "Billy" Haese. Ask the Lord to surround his wife, Sylvia, their children, grandchildren, and extended family with His peace, comfort, and strength as they grieve. May they experience the hope found in Christ, the loving support of family and friends, and God's sustaining presence in the days ahead.
