"...the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
James 5:16 (NIV)
James 5:16 (NIV)
As the body of Christ, we lift in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ. As His sons and daughters, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, and we would like to do that for:
- Pray for Dana Craft. He is still in the United States waiting until his platelet levels are stabilized so he can have another surgery on his hip. Please pray for Damaris and Noah as they eagerly await to be reunited with Dana when he comes home in Guatemala. Also, pray for Dana's family caring for him in the U.S. while he is waiting for surgery. (11/29)
- Pray for Nicole Calderón. She is 33 weeks pregnant, and her baby boy has some heart complications. Pray that his lungs develop correctly so there won't be any complications for his delivery. (11/28)
- Pray for the Babb Family. They are in the process of transitioning back to the United States, and must sell off all of their belongings including a vehicle by December 16. Pray for this and all of the logistics of moving to go smoothly as they prepare to start a new period of ministry with a Christian School in Central Nebraska. (11/07)
- Pray for Susan & Rubén Hilario who are undergoing health issues and temporarily in the United States.
- Ruben had successful eye surgery on November 10 to remove a cataract and have other procedures. Praise God for the effective treatment he is receiving which is helping preserve his vision. Pray as well that he can be granted an extension so he can stay in the US longer.
- Susan is undergoing maintenance treatment which involves an injection every 3 weeks. Pray for complete healing and recovery so that the Hilario's can return to Guatemala soon. (11/30)
- Pray for Marilyn Heffner (Ruth Ann Purtzer's mom with a terminal cancer prognosis). Marylin lives in Wyoming. (10/30)
- Pray for Ana Sylvia Ramírez (Ana Ramírez's daughter) as she underwent knee surgery on Oct. 12. Continue praying for an uneventful healing process as well as for a speedy recovery for Ana de Ramírez, who also underwent knee surgery a few weeks ago. (10/19)
- Pray for José Luis Guzmán. José Luis is at home now, slowly getting back to his work routine (his platelet levels have been climbing, bit by bit.) Continue praying for a full recovery. (11/09)
- Kara Van Wic and her husband Yos and their unborn child (recent regular attenders). Kara is having complications with her pregnancy. (10/30)
- Continue praying for Guatemala and that God’s will to be done in our country. Pray for a peaceful transition of power and that the current and new authorities act with integrity to seek the welfare of the people in Guatemala.
- Pray for peace for Israel and the Middle East ("Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity." Psalms 122:6-9 NIV).
- Continue praying for Luis Andrés Anleu, a nine-year-old boy who needs a liver transplant. Luis Andrés is the son of one of Rodrigo Pemueller's colleagues. Pray that God provides all the resources needed for his surgery. (07/25)
- Continue praying for Ed Fox with serious ongoing health issues. Pray the Lord guides him and Mary as to understand when to have his ankle fused, so he can continue walking. (06/09)
- Continue praying for the Lord’s provision for UCG. Pray that God moves people to give generously to support our ministries.
