As the body of Christ, we lift in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ. As His sons and daughters, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, and we would like to do that for:
- Pray for Susan & Rubén Hilario who are undergoing health issues and temporarily in the United States.
- Susan is finished with radiation, but still continuing with immunotherapy. Next month she will meet with doctors to discuss a plan for moving forward.
- Rubén's residency has been approved! We thank the Lord for this prompt decision. (07/26)
- Pray for Eduardo Rodríguez who underwent an appendicitis surgery on Wednesday, July 24. Pray for a quick recovery. (07/24)
- Pray for Sofía Quintanilla, Paul's Garrett's wife, who lost her mother to cancer on Wednesday, July 24. Pray for God's comfort for Sofía, Paul and the Quintanilla family as they go through trying times like these. (07/24)
- Pray for Krista Nonemaker as she slipped on a wet staircase and broke her tibia on both sides of her ankle. The doctors will put a plate and two pins in. Please pray the surgery goes well and that Krista recovers well. Krista thanks the Lord for all His blessings amidst trials. (06/27)
- Pray for Francisco Jiatz, Esther Jiatz Wiederhold's brother. He is diabetic, and suffers from pancreatic cancer. 07/21
- Pray for Patrica Bowen suffering from appendicitis. Pray for complete healing as surgery is scheduled to take place in a month. (05/30)
- Pray for peace for Israel and the Middle East ("Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity." Psalms 122:6-9 NIV).
- Continue praying for Guatemala and that God’s will to be done in our country. Continue praying that our political authorities act with integrity to seek the welfare of the people in Guatemala.
- Continue praying for the Lord’s provision for UCG. Pray that God moves people to give generously to support our ministries.
